Pay Rate: £14.25 - £15.25 per hour (DOE)

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work as part of a specialist SEN support team across the school (predominantly KS1)
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Support children with needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language difficulties, and learning needs
- Deliver targeted interventions and adapt classroom activities to suit individual learning styles
- Implement EHCP targets and behaviour strategies
- Encourage independence, engagement, and emotional development
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to work with different pupils and year groups while being part of a strong team.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have proven experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
- Are confident working on a 1:1 basis
- Have experience in Primary School (desirable)
- Are patient, resilient, and proactive
- Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Have a good understanding of behaviour management strategies
- Hold a relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent – desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
