SEN Teaching Assistant – Sale (M33)

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant for flexible work across multiple SEN secondary provisions. We need an experienced TA, who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys making a positive impact.

We are a leading provider of education staffing solutions, working closely with SEN secondary provisions in and around the Sale (M33) area. As a Day-to-Day Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple SEN secondary provisions, supporting students with a range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN
  • Assisting teachers in implementing individualised learning plans and strategies
  • Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
  • Promoting positive behaviour management techniques and fostering a supportive learning environment
  • Building rapport with students, staff, and parents/carers to facilitate effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker is essential
  • A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs and making a positive impact on their lives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work across different SEN provisions
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
