SEN Teaching Assistant, Trafford Primary School, Sale (M31)

An ‘OUTSTANDING’ school in the Sale area of Manchester (M31) are working with Teaching Personnel to recruit an experienced SEN TA. This role is to work closely on a 1:1 basis with a child who is transitioning from a special school into a mainstream primary school.

The position will begin after May half term when the child is expected to start.  As this child’s needs can be quite challenging and demanding, experience in supporting children with complex needs is absolutely essential. The ability to form strong working relationships is required, as the child will need assistance integrating into the classroom, as they can sometimes find this difficult due to their social anxiety.

The head teacher is keen to find the right candidate, who will be enthusiastic, committed and bring a positive energy to the role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
