Teaching Assistant- Primary SEN School (Autism & Learning Difficulties)
Location: Portsmouth
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Term time only

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary SEN School in Portsmouth, supporting pupils with Autism and a range of learning difficulties.
About the Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-
Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and classroom management
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement through tailored support
-
Helping pupils develop communication, social and life skills
-
Providing a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience working with children with Autism (ASC) or additional learning needs
-
A patient, empathetic and enthusiastic approach
-
Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
-
Willingness to learn and follow individual education plans (IEPs)
-
Relevant experience in an educational, care or SEN setting is desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
