JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location:

South East England, specifically Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes area.

Job Type:

Temporary position with Full-Time hours.

Salary:

£80 - £90 Per day.

Job Duties:

  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN students.
  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to support SEN students effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with children or individuals with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Experience:

Prior experience working with children or individuals with Special Educational Needs.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Additional training in SEN support.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting with students with Special Educational Needs. It may require some flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the students and school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
