JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant

£80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in classroom settings
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Help students with learning difficulties to access the curriculum
Work closely with teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
Assist with personal care and physical support for students with disabilities

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience working with children or young people with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of SEN support strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and resilience

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid certification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
