£80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
Assist the teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
Support students with personal care tasks, if required

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support students with SEN
Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of SEN principles and best practises
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Preferred Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting with students with SEN
Full-time hours, temporary position
May involve assisting with personal care tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
