Teaching Assistant – Full-Time Role in Middleton
Start Date: As soon as possible

Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a school in Middleton actively seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with Year 4 students diagnosed with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). This good-rated school is focused on enabling every child, regardless of ability, to develop spiritually, physically, socially, and intellectually to their fullest potential. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position (8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities.
  • Provide one-to-one support for SEN students to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Assist with implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
  • Work closely with other staff members and professionals to ensure the holistic development of students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Relevant experience working with students with SEN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (training available if needed).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
