SEN Teaching Assistant – Lymington (SEMH Focus)
Start: ASAP | Full-Time | Long-Term Role
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Lymington who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
Although the school is mainstream, they have a number of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and they are looking for someone who can provide consistent, nurturing support across the classroom.
About the role:

Supporting pupils with SEMH on a 1:1 or small group basis
-
Helping to create a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment

Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to support pupil progress
-
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, term time only
-
Ongoing role with the potential to become permanent
The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working with children with SEMH or other additional needs
-
A resilient, empathetic and patient nature
-
A proactive attitude and strong communication skills
-
A desire to make a real difference in children’s lives

Pay: £80–£90 per day (depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
