‍ About the Role ‍

As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the talented teaching staff in delivering outstanding lessons and providing tailored learning experiences to students. Your ability to engage with pupils on various academic levels and promote a positive and stimulating learning environment will be invaluable to the school's success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the teaching staff.
  • Work closely with individual students and small groups to provide targeted support and intervention.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilize your expertise to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  • Contribute to the overall pastoral care and development of the students.

Requirements

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Passion for education and a genuine desire to inspire and support students.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the ever-changing needs of the school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
