Job description

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students?

We have an exciting opportunity for a caring and committed individual to work with students who may be considered vulnerable. This role involves supporting children with a variety of complex needs and learning difficulties, always prioritizing their welfare and safety while helping them reach their individual goals.

Role Details:

  • Hours/Days: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm (Term-Time Only)

  • Start Date: As soon as possible

  • Location: Specialist provision based in Liverpool

  • Salary: Competitive rate

Each student has a personalized healthcare plan that guides staff in providing the highest level of care. The school values close collaboration with families, fostering strong relationships built on trust. Parents are actively encouraged to share feedback, ensuring that their children’s needs are always put first.

The school is set within a well-equipped, two-story facility that includes hydrotherapy pools, sensory gardens, play parks, and multi-use games areas. The ideal candidate will feel confident supporting students in these environments as well as in the classroom.

With a recent GOOD rating from Ofsted, the school boasts a supportive leadership team committed to helping every pupil achieve both personal and academic goals. Students also benefit from a wide range of off-site learning experiences, including visits to museums, safari parks, and leisure centres.

We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant who can remain calm under pressure, maintains a positive attitude, and is ready to support students through any challenges they may encounter.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
