SEN Teaching Assistant

One of our partnership SEN schools in South Manchester are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team!

This school supports children and young adults with complex learning needs including Autism, Profound and multiple learning difficulties, and sensory impairments.

The school has fantastic facilities with passionate and dedicated staff who want to make a difference to the lives of children with SEN.

In this role you will:

• Help to prepare and produce resources for exciting and engaging sensory activities
• Support in the assessment of learning and development
• Support children in vocational activities and outings
• And much more!

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children with complex additional needs in a school/care setting or through personal experience
• A caring and confident personality
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing situations
• Full-time availability to support the needs of the children.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service- this can be applied for through Teaching Personnel

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
