SEN Teaching Assistants – Hindhead and Surrounding Areas
Do you have a passion for helping young people reach their full potential? We’re seeking Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join our supportive team, working across a range of specialist and mainstream schools in Hindhead and nearby areas.

About the role:

Supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)

Providing 1:1 and small group support, both inside and outside the classroom

Helping to implement individual learning plans and behaviour strategies under the guidance of teachers and SENCOs
-
Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning

Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment
What we’re looking for:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
-
A compassionate, patient, and proactive attitude
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different pupils and schools

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
