Psychology Graduates Wanted – SEN Support Positions
Surrey | Full-Time & Part-Time | Starting ASAP

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEN) or behavioural difficulties?

We’re seeking compassionate and motivated graduates to join school teams across Surrey. You’ll support children with diverse needs such as autism (ASD), ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and trauma.

This role is a fantastic stepping stone for anyone interested in careers in:

  • Psychology

  • Teaching

  • Speech & Language Therapy

  • Mental Health Services

Key responsibilities include:
Delivering 1:1 or small group support
Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour management
Collaborating with teachers and therapists
Building trusting relationships with students
Promoting a calm and positive learning environment

Ideal candidates will have:
✔ A degree in Psychology or a related discipline
✔ A sincere interest in supporting children with SEN
✔ Patience, empathy, and a calm demeanor
✔ Some experience working with children (desirable but not essential)
✔ Availability for at least 3 days per week during term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
