Job Duties:
- Supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Understanding and addressing the needs of children with autism
- Implementing behaviour management strategies
- De-escalating difficult situations effectively
- Assisting in the learning process
Required Qualifications:
Teaching assistant qualification
Education:
Relevant teaching assistant qualification
Experience:
Experience supporting children with SEN needs
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of autism
- Ability to support children with SEN needs
- Good behaviour management skills
- Effective de-escalation of difficult situations
- Supporting learning and educational activities
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in SEN support
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in an educational setting with children who have SEN needs. It may require occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate school schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
