Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel work very closely with a school based in a lovely school in Haywards Heath. The school is looking for dedicated LSA's that are comfortable within their Year 2 classroom. There are multiple positions and dependant on experience and preference. The school are looking to take on to contract the right educators. The school have a highly supportive SLT and training to enhance your experience.
1x 1:1 LSA
In this role, you would be working 1:1 with a Year 2 child who has Autism. You will be required to build rapport with the child whilst supporting them with their learning. This would be on a full time basis
2x Class LSA (Year 2)
In this role you would be working within the classroom providing support to the children as well as supporting the Teacher with lesson tasks. You will be able to manage pupil attainment and ensure that pupils are engaged in learning throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children/or ability to deal with SEN children.
- Ability to work within school hours on a full-time basis.
- Child only enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Driving is preferred due to location or live local.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
