*****SEN Teaching Assistant*****

  • Do you have experience as a Support Worker?
  • Do you have experience with Autism or ADHD?
  • Do you have a passion for Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside specialist provisions which are based in the East Sussex area. We’re currently working closely with both SEN and SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental, Heath) schools that are requiring long-term SEN Teaching Assistants until the end of the academic year – with potential for the role to be extended.

Locations:

We’re currently working alongside SEN/SEMH schools in the following areas:

-      Brighton & Hove

-      Portslade

-      Lewes

-      Eastbourne

-      Seaford

-      Hailsham

About the role:

The SEN Teaching Assistant role is a fantastic role where you can gain experience as well as working apart of a pro-active and enthusiastic team! You will be expected to use your initiative and be able to build rapport with both primary and secondary pupils who have additional needs and who will require additional help both academically and socially.

Additional information:

  • Travel – Bus/Car
  • Pay - £385-£450 pw
  • Contract – Temp to Perm
  • Hours – 8:30am – 15:50pm
  • Experience – Primary/Secondary/SEN
  • Availability – Monday – Friday Full- Time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
