Are you looking for a role where you can make a significant impact in the lives of young people with social and mental health needs?
Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely brand new SEMH school near Crawley that cater for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs and associated challenging behaviour. If you are someone that thrives on helping young people overcome obstacles that prevent them from attending mainstream education, this is role for you.
The pupils require individualised support and follow EHCP’s due to various factors such as child trauma, PTSD etc. they require nurturing and empathetic individuals who can challenge them socially and academically in order to progress in an education provision.
The successful candidate will be resilient and patient with great communication skills in order to assist them with learning and behaviour, the curriculum is delivered in a fun and creative way which means a lot of educational games, drawing/painting and sports.
The role would suit someone with a great sense of humour and the ability to promote self esteem and confidence whilst implementing positive behaviour – this is an exciting time to join a growing SEN provision with excellent opportunities to progress within the school!
All you need is
- Enhanced child only DBS registered to the update service or willing to apply
- Experience supporting children/adults with mental health or special needs
- Available full time
- 2 graded references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
