SEN Teaching Assistant – Ages 11–16
Full-time Permanent Position | Immediate Start | Cranborne
£1,000 Sign-on Bonus

The Role

Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
-
Supporting pupils aged 11–16
-
Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm
-
Immediate start available
-
Supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis
-
Helping pupils to access learning, develop independence, and build confidence

tudent Needs
Pupils may present with a range of special educational needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

Moderate to severe learning difficulties

Communication and interaction needs
-
Sensory processing differences
-
Social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Requirements
-
A passion for supporting children and young people with SEN
-
A patient, caring, and resilient approach
-
Driving is essential due to the rural location of the school
-
A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience supporting children with SEN would be beneficial but is not essential
-
A willingness to learn, undertake training, and fully engage with the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
