The Role

• Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position

• Supporting pupils aged 11–16

• Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm

• Immediate start available

• Supporting pupils in the classroom, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis

• Helping pupils to access learning, develop independence, and build confidence

tudent Needs

Pupils may present with a range of special educational needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• Moderate to severe learning difficulties

• Communication and interaction needs

• Sensory processing differences

• Social, emotional, and behavioural needs

Requirements

• A passion for supporting children and young people with SEN

• A patient, caring, and resilient approach

• Driving is essential due to the rural location of the school

• A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience supporting children with SEN would be beneficial but is not essential

• A willingness to learn, undertake training, and fully engage with the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
