Teaching Assistant – April 2024 – Richmond Upon Thames
Full Time Position – Interviews Commencing Immediately

We are working with a popular school in the heart of Chiswick who have a team of highly committed and passionate teachers. They are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in April.

The role will involve working with a Year 1 student with mild ASD.

The school will be considering both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants as well as graduates with a background in Psychology, Early Childhood and Youth Studies and other relevant degrees. So if you don’t currently have any formal experience working within a classroom you may still be considered for this role.

About the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
Supporting the pupil throughout the school day
Assisting the pupil with the work set out by the teacher
Behaviour and learning support
Upholding the values of the school at all times
Aiding with the set up and set down of the classroom
Maintaining high levels of health and safety
Aiding the teacher with the day to day running of the class

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
