One of our client Primary schools in Cardiff are looking to appoint a patient, motivated and resourceful teaching assistant to join their caring and committed team.  

The role will be start as soon as possible for the whole academic year. The teaching assistant will be supporting a pupil with Autism on a one to one basis, the pupil is in a foundation phase Y2 class and requires support full time.

The successful teaching assistant must:

• Have a good knowledge and experience working with children or young adults with SEN 
• Be caring, nurturing and adaptable
• Make learning fun but also have strong behaviour management
• Work well as part of a team
• Be able to support the pupil emotionally and academically.

Salary - minimum GBP60 per day

Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30 – 3:30 (hour lunch), term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
