SEN (ASC) TA – Bury (BL8)

Overview:

  • Full time ASC (Autism) Support Teaching Assistant
  • Temporary post starting November 2023 until the end of the academic year 2023/24
  • Working hours Monday – Friday (8.30am – 3:30pm)

This ‘Good’ Primary school in Bury (BL8) are recruiting for an ASC Support Teaching Assistant on a temporary basis, until the end of the academic year.

The headteacher is determined to ensure all pupils have the best possible education and attain the highest standard. You will be responsible for providing ongoing 1:1 support and general classroom support when needed. This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with ASC (Autism).

This is a great opportunity at a school which is aiming to become ‘Outstanding’. You would be working closely with the school SENCO to help aid learning in school as much as possible, this is a great place to work, with a friendly environment and a hard-working ethic. 

The role:

  • Child – ASC needs, non-verbal, repetitive, visual learner.
  • Working closely with the SENCO and inclusion lead.
  • Supporting learning in class and outside of the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
