SEN Teaching Assistant required for a full-time post in Bury with an immediate start date.

Do you have a passion for making a difference in education? Do you have previous experience of working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school or would you like a role like this in the future?

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in the Bury area of Greater Manchester to add an SEN teaching assistant to their support staff team from September 2020.

As an incoming SEN teaching assistant, you would be expected to help aid learning and progress with identified pupils with learning difficulties and specific SEN needs.

  • SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury secondary school, immediate start date.
  • Supporting identified pupils with SEN across KS3 and KS4.
  • Working closely with the SENCO and learning support team throughout the school.
    • Qualified teaching assistants or graduates with previous school based experience encouraged to apply.
    • OFSTED graded ‘Good’ school situated in central Bury.

Our client school located in Bury seek to appoint a teaching assistant on a full time basis with an immediate start date. This position is suitable for graduates pursuing a career as a teacher in the future OR experienced teaching assistants. If you are keen to influence the development of pupils learning and have an interest in working with pupils with special needs such as; ADHD, ASC or Dyslexia, then Teaching Personnel want to hear from you.

The incoming SEN teaching assistant will be working closely with the learning support team and with identified pupils in KS3 in particular.

Located in Bury, this school is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive and is much smaller than the average secondary school with approximately 600 pupils on role. The school holds state of the art facilities and is easily accessible via the M66 and has good public transport links from Bury town centre.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
