SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join an “outstanding” schools’ pastoral SEN team in Central Bristol.

The successful candidate will have one or more of the following:
- Experience of working in a school or a similar role.
- Experience of working with young people in a school or extra-curricular context
- GCSE of equivalent passes in English and Mathematics.
The roles and responsibilities:
- Be dependable and punctual both independently and as part of a team
- Actively arrange and participate in play and activities such as swimming, ball games, music etc.
- Be prepared to communicate with a wide range of people.
- Maintaining and producing reports to assess progress.
- Always maintain the greatest degree of safety and security.
- Plan and support children with SEN need in a professional and compassionate manner, assisting individuals or groups of students to attain their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
