Experienced SEN & Behavioural Support Teaching Assistants – Dorset
Location: Across Dorset (Mainstream Primary Schools)
Hours: Part-Time and Full-Time Roles Available
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or behavioural needs?
We’re looking for caring, committed, and proactive individuals to work across a range of mainstream primary schools in Dorset. Whether you’re seeking flexible part-time work in different settings or a secured full-time position, we can help you find the perfect fit.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting pupils with SEN and behavioural challenges on a 1:1 or small group basis

Helping children engage in learning, build confidence, and develop key life skills

Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning environments

Providing encouragement, patience, and consistency every day
What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience supporting children with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs

A positive, calm, and resilient attitude

Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and pupil needs

A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
