SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – Bournemouth (September 2025 Start)

Are you a compassionate and resilient individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs (SEN)?

We are seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school in Bournemouth, supporting students aged 11 to 16 from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a nurturing learning environment designed to support pupils with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teaching staff to support students with SEN across a variety of subjects

  • Assist with individualised learning plans, ensuring each pupil has the support they need to succeed

  • Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independence in learners

  • Help create a safe, calm and inclusive learning environment

  • Support pupils both in and outside the classroom, including during transitions and activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
