We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialized provision in Birmingham. In this role, you'll provide support to children and young people within and around the classroom environment.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time)
Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £83 - £90 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full Time/ Immediate start
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring students' safety at all times
- Creating a fun and engaging learning environment
- Following directions from the class teacher, capable of working both independently and within a team
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs is preferred
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilient and committed to the role
Additional Information:
- Must have or be willing to apply for a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
