SEN Teaching Assistant - Bury

A primary school located in Whitefield, Bury is looking for a teaching assistant to support pupils with Autism in their specialist provision. The Head teacher is looking for an experienced teaching assistant who has previously worked with pupils with special educational needs. The successful candidate will start on the 20th May and carry on until the end of the academic year with a possibility of carrying in September.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous SEN or SEMH experience
  • Previous experience using PECS
  • Experience utilizing SEN and behavioural strategies for structured learning

This is a lovely and warm primary school and has previously been graded 'Good' by its Ofsted inspection. The primary school has a very close connection to the local community and has a strong focus on creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment.

  • £285 - £315 a day
  • Start date - 20th May 2019
