SEN Teachers

Date posted : 17/03/21
£10 - 15 per hour

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teachers, Tutors, NQT’s, TA’s & Interventionalists all welcome!

It takes a special kind of person to work with SEN and that can often make specialists hard to replace. As such, many of our schools are communicating a need for staff experienced in working with SEN pupils on either a 1:1, small group, or remote tuition basis.

You may already be in this role, just not in a school!

SEN is a wide term that encompasses a lot; however, we would love to speak with individuals that are also SEN experienced outside of school environments. That might be as pastoral or support workers, mental health champions, voluntary work or even a personal familiarity such as with friends or family. We are looking for individuals comfortable working with Primary school pupils with Mental, Emotional or Physical inhibitions.

With increasingly inclusive school policies, there is an ever-growing need for SEN specialists to work in mainstream schools which these vacancies relate to. However, our specialist SEN branch is also recruiting now, so you might find one application equates to several once you are brought in!

Ideal Candidate:

  • SEN experienced – Covering Behavioural, Physical & Emotional difficulties.
  • Resilient & firm, but also an empathetic & considerate person.
  • Proven ability to adapt lesson plans in-line with pupil reciprocity and behaviours.
  • Have experience with 1:1 session and offering supplementary learning alongside studies.
  • Able to offer flexible availability for either temporary part-time roles or long-term, full-time roles.

Benefits:

  • You will be making a profound difference to those who need help most.
  • Full-time or Part-time work available.
  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • Dedicated personal consultant.
  • Weekly pay
  • Pension Scheme
  • Unrivalled access to Hampshire Primary Schools.
