‍ The Role – Teach Your Subject, Make a Difference

You’ll work with pupils across KS3–KS4 (and sometimes KS5) with a range of additional needs, including:

• Autism (ASC)
• SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health)
• Moderate to complex learning difficulties
• Speech, language & communication needs

In your role, you will:

• Deliver adapted, engaging lessons in your subject specialism
• Support pupils to achieve EHCP targets and personal goals
• Differentiate learning to meet a wide range of needs and abilities
• Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with support staff, SEN teams, and external professionals

What You’ll Bring

• ✅ QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• ✅ Experience teaching in a secondary school setting (any subject)
• ✅ Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiation
• ✅ Interest or experience in SEN, SEND, SEMH, or alternative provision
