SEN Teacher

We are currently seeking a Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher for our SEMH specialist partner school for a minimum of one-term. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in SEN schools, preferably with students who display challenging behaviour. We would also love to hear from you if you have personal experience with SEN.

A rewarding role with great rates of pay and the opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of Special Education Needs pupils, you will provide accessible lessons to your students and encourage Social, Emotional and Behavioural development. When planning lessons, you will ensure they are stimulating in order for pupils to stay engaged.

The school itself caters for up to 20 students between 12-18 years of age. Each classroom features different learning environments for alternative ways of learning supported by unique educational pathways tailored to each individual. These are created to ensure each student's needs and learning requirements are met. Teachers are supported by a multi-disciplinary team which includes: a psychologist, an occupational therapist and therapeutic practitioners.

You must be available to work 8.30am until 3.30pm, for a minimum of one-term.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
