we have a fantastic opportunity working in a ‘Outstanding’ school for a Teacher in a specialist secondary school in Thanet from February. The position is for a SEN teacher and is initially a temporary position; however, this position will likely turn permanent from September 2021.
The school who are looking for a Year 7 teacher, teaching children with Mild Learning Difficulties
The setting is a SEND special needs secondary school in Thanet. The school caters for pupils aged 8-18 and who have a wide range of needs including: profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties, and Autism Spectrum condition. In its most recent OFSTED inspection, the school was graded as ‘outstanding’.
• Qualified Teacher Status with extensive experience with pupils with SEN.
• A specialism in working with pupils with SEN (desirable)
• Team Teach training (desirable)
• A commitment to supporting SEN pupils in achieving their optimal potential
• An understanding of how to adapt lessons to assure that learning is accessible to all pupils
• The ability to demonstrate the right necessary experience and your passion for helping vulnerable children with a range of difficulties.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
