SEN Teacher

Location: Lawrence Weston

Salary: £110-£160 a day

Full/Part Time

An exciting opportunity has arose for a SEN Teacher to join and contribute to a wonderful school in Lawrence Weston, if you are passionate about SEN and wish to provide first class education, then this may be the role for you! The school delivers a relevant, individualised and meaningful curriculum to students with a wide range of needs, including Asperger's, Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and complex needs. They aim to nurture and develop their learning capacities, enabling them to enjoy a good quality of life through healthy living and positive relationships with self, peers, adults and their community. Your focus as an SEN Teacher is to support the development of the whole child so that each may flourish and feel prepared for life beyond school.

If you are passionate about pupils' development and enthusiastic to take on a new challenge, then you are the type of candidate we would like to speak to.

A successful SEN Teacher…..

  • QTS Status
  • Knowledge of the UK Curriculum
  • Experience working in an SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting
  • Great behavioural management skills
  • Have an engaging, creative and caring nature
  • Be emotionally resilient, non-judgemental and approachable
  • Committed with a 'can do' attitude
  • Ability to use own initiative
