About the Role
As an SEN Tutor, you'll work one-to-one with students who need individualised attention and adapted learning approaches. Your patience, creativity, and empathy will help build confidence, engagement, and progress in core subjects.

Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Flexible (in-person or remote depending on student needs)
Pay Rate: £25–£30 per hour


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised lessons tailored to each learner’s needs and EHCPs

  • Support students in Maths, English, and/or functional skills

  • Use adaptive techniques to promote engagement and progress

  • Monitor development and communicate effectively with parents, schools, and local authorities

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

  • Understanding of EHCPs and a range of learning difficulties or behavioural needs

  • Ability to build trust and rapport with learners who may have faced educational challenges

  • A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching

  • A teaching qualification or relevant SEN experience (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
