 SEN Teacher – Maternity Cover
Location: Tadley, Hampshire
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (MPS/UPS) + SEN Allowance
Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in the Tadley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEN practitioner—or a committed teacher looking to further develop their expertise—to make a meaningful impact during a maternity cover period.

About the Role

As the SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

  • Use creative approaches to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum and make strong progress.

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and external agencies.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS or QTLS.

  • Has experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, PMLD).

  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience.

  • Is confident adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
