SEN Teacher (Temp to Perm) – Preston
Mixed Primary & Secondary SEN School

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
We are working with a well-established SEN school in Preston that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable SEN Teacher to join their supportive team on a temp-to-perm basis.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with diverse needs.

  • Work across both primary and secondary phases, supporting pupils with EHCPs and complex learning needs.

  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment where pupils can thrive.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience working with SEN pupils (primary, secondary, or both).

  • A flexible, patient, and nurturing approach.

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

Contract:

  • Start: Immediate or as soon as possible.

  • Initially on a temporary contract with the opportunity to progress to a permanent role.

Location: Preston, Lancashire

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
