Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to start a rewarding career in education or mental health? Teaching Personnel are working with schools across Blackpool seeking passionate and resilient individuals to support pupils with SEN in a Teaching Assistant role.
The roles available are both flexible, agency or temp to perm opportunities offering you the chance to gain valuable experience in schools while developing skills that link directly to careers in education, pyschology, mental health and youth support.
The Role:

Supporting pupils with additional needs such as ASC, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, and complex learning difficulties.

Assisting teachers in delivering personalised learning and behaviour support strategies.

Building positive relationships with pupils to promote confidence, independence, and engagement.

Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils achieve their EHCP targets.
What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Psychology (or related subject).

A genuine interest in SEN, behaviour, and child development.

Strong communication, empathy, and resilience.
-
Previous experience supporting children or young people (desirable, not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
