Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a welcoming school in Mitcham, supporting children aged 4-12 years old with a range of special educational needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD, MLD, SLD, and SLCN.

Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress.
-
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
-
Contribute to EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets and reviews.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs welcome).

Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, MLD, SLD, SLCN desirable but not essential).

A patient, adaptable, and creative approach to teaching.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.

A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding best practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
