SEN Teacher – Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
£140–£180 per day | Full-time & Part-time Roles | Immediate Start Available

TP Tutors is seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teacher to join our team in Mansfield. This is a rewarding opportunity to support learners with a range of special educational needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role
You’ll be working with children and young people who may have complex needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, or emotional and behavioural challenges. Whether you’re teaching in a school setting or delivering personalised tuition, your goal will be to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored, accessible lessons that meet individual EHCP targets

  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit a range of learning styles and abilities

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

  • Track and report on student progress and achievements

  • Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and other professionals

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)

  • Experience working with children with SEN, either in mainstream or specialist settings

  • Empathy, patience, and a flexible, child-centred approach

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
