SEN Teacher

A School based in the Darwen area are seeking a KS3 Teacher for an immediate start. 

The School caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours and pupils who can no longer remain in mainstream education. 

The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Teacher to deliver a range of subjects across predominantly KS3. 

The School are looking for a full time member of staff to work with pupils who can be difficult or aggressive in their behaviours, they also must be confident in delivering a range of subjects. 

The candidate suited to this role will hold a Teaching Qualification, have experience working with pupils who have SEMH Difficulties and challenging behaviours, you must also be willing to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who are struggling or falling behind in class. 

The role will be suited to a hard working candidate with a passion for working with pupils who are disengaged and / or struggling with their behaviour. 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP95 - 135 per day

- Long term position available 

- Rewarding position delivering a range of subjects to pupils with additional needs
