SEN Tutor – Bingham, Nottinghamshire

Do you have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Are you passionate about helping young learners overcome barriers to education?

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to students in Bingham who require additional support due to a range of learning needs. These students may struggle in mainstream settings, and your work will be crucial in helping them build confidence, independence, and essential skills. This role may develop into a long-term or full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored lessons in English, Maths, or other core subjects to SEN learners on a 1:1 basis

  • Create and adapt resources to meet individual learning styles and abilities

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

  • Build positive relationships and apply effective behaviour management strategies

  • Monitor and report on student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
