Teaching Personnel is the UK’s leading education recruitment agency. We are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in one of the primary schools that we work with in Ealing.
What the role of a classroom assistant involves:
Working within the class to support the class teacher with their lessons
Working alongside a team of support staff in class
Working on a 1:1 basis with students
This is a temporary position but there is the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.
Competitve salary GBP65-GBP80 per day (depending upon experience)
The successful candidate must:
Have experience working in a school and/or with challenging behaviour
Have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs, or a willingness to learn
To be successful in this role it is desirable that you:
Have experience working within a school setting
Have experience working with children and/or adults with learning difficulties
Be resilient and confident working with Challenging behaviour
Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant in an SEN capacity
Have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and support them in their social, emotional and personal wellbeing
Be nurturing and enthusiastic
This position is ideal for TAs wanting to get more experience working with SEN pupils, which can be incredible valuable for professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
