Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for SEN Teaching Assistants for a schools based in central Cornwall, including Redruth, Truro, and surrounding areas. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils with SEND. You will be able to manage a varied workload and learn new skills effectively.

Key responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- To assist in monitoring and recording the progress of individual students in accordance with school procedures.
- To work with teachers to identify and respond appropriately to students' individual needs, assisting students appropriately to achieve these.
- Present agreed learning tasks in a clear manner to help maintain students' interest and motivation.
- To provide information that supports the preparation and review of Individual Education Plans and to action appropriate tasks from IEPs.
Required experience and/or qualifications:
A good standard of secondary education to enable you to support students effectively across the academic curriculum to GCSE.
Prior experience within a classroom environment and with pupil with SEND.
A willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
