SEN TA's Required in Bournemouth

Protocol Education are looking for SEN TA's that are interested in working with and are highly experienced working with children with special needs such as physical disabilities (PMLD), autism (ASD) and speech and language difficulties.

The role will require the successful candidate to be patient, empathetic, resilient and have a passion for working in the Education sector, particularly with special needs children.

As a SEN TA, successful candidates will need the following skills and qualifications:

·Confident in differentiating work in accordance to the pupils needs.
·Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and works well under pressure.
·Experience/knowledge of special needs conditions including Autism, Downs Syndrome and Speech/Language difficulties.
·Trained in TEACCH, Team Teach/MAPA is desirable but not neccasary
·PECs and Makaton trained is desirable
·Must apply for disclosure barred service or currently registered to the updated service.

Minimum Requirements

- Previous experience working in a similar School setting, or evidence of strong Behaviour Management

- A passion and enthusiasm to see pupils achieve

- Dedication to the needs of all your pupils, working with other staff members to offer emotional and academic support

A Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or one done through Teaching Personnel
