Are you a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference?
We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in the BS49 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with additional needs, helping them to grow in confidence, build essential skills, and thrive in the classroom.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can succeed.
What You’ll Do:

Support pupils with special educational needs in their learning and development.

Provide 1:1 and small group support to help children engage with lessons and achieve their goals.

Adapt activities and approaches to meet the needs of individual learners.

Promote positive behaviour and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
-
Has experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
-
Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people.
-
Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
-
Has strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude.
-
Holds a relevant childcare or TA qualification (Level 2 or 3) – desirable but not essential.
