Teaching Personnel
We are looking for outstanding Teachers who have worked in an SEN setting to join our bank of supply teachers.
Your New Company

As a qualified SEN Teacher working on a supply basis through Teaching Personnel, you will be working for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with primary and secondary SEN Schools across Kent.

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a bank of SEN Teachers across Swale for Long term and day-to-day supply work when the schools reopen fully.
Your new role as a Supply Teacher working in local SEN Schools, you will be able to cover lessons suited to your curriculum strength and you will also be required to cover across the wider curriculum and work to tailored curriculums specifically tailored to the needs of the SEN students.

Your duties:
Leading classroom sessions, often with the support of SEN Teaching Assistant(s)
Supervise students in lessons whilst delivering pre-prepared work left by the teacher.
Managing pupil behaviour in the classroom
Be familiar with the school’s policies and procedures and deal with any immediate problems.
Collating the completed work from the lesson and leaving a handover for the returning teacher.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful as an SEN Supply Teacher, you should have finished your studies and hold full QTS. You must be an experienced Teacher with recent experience working with pupils with a range of SEN, SLD and ASD would be beneficial. You should have a good knowledge of the current curriculum and a passion for helping children to achieve their full potential.

Your CV must cover the last 6 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a virtual registration interview

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
