Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Supply Teacher (NQT, FQT or OTT) for a supportive and welcoming specialist SEN school in Gorleston, Norfolk.
Your role will involve teaching a range of subjects to GCSE students who display challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues (SEMH).
Working with SEN pupils, encouraging confidence and ensuring pupils aged 11-16 years have access to their education entitlement is of the highest importance.
The School
- Encourages the development and confidence of each pupil, with ongoing development plans and planned activities taking place both on and off of the school site.
- Has a strong focus on the promotion of well-being with tailored vocational and academic programmes, which parents and carers are heavily involved in.
- Small class sizes and additional support (Teaching Assistant's/Learning Support Assistant's)

The Successful Applicant:
- Must be a qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent and experience of teaching 11-16 year olds in the UK.
- Will have excellent knowledge of the GCSE curriculum.
- Should either have experience of working with students with SEMH, communication difficulties or complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.
