An award-winning SEN School group renowned for its dedication to exceptional education and support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher of Science to join their dedicated team in Staffordshire-Stoke-on-Trent. The SEN Teacher of Science will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education tailored to the needs of students with various special educational needs. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals to support each student's individual learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated science lessons that meet the needs of students with SEN.
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support students' overall development and well-being.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in SEN education and science teaching.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching science, preferably within an SEN setting.
- Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective teaching strategies to support these students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for making a difference in the lives of students with SEN.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
