Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Uxbridge

Ages: 18-22 years old

Needs: Autism, physical disabilities, mental health, sensory and behavioural needs.

Pay: £70-85 per day via PAYE NOT through umbrella company

Hours: 8:30-4:30pm Mondays to Thursdays during school term time

Contract dates: ASAP start date

Teaching Personnel are working with a large Ofsted rated outstanding academy trust with requirements for learning support assistants (LSA) in Uxbridge for their special needs college. The college specialises in building independence skills and adapting learning to meet the needs of their students.

Requirements for Learning Support Assistant:

  • Have previous experience of working with special needs or in care
  • Confidence supporting young adults with personal care, moving and handling or hoisting
  • Able to travel daily to Uxbridge, Hillingdon
  • Have a child and Adult DBS registered to the update service or be willing to complete one
  • Have right to work in the UK.
