We are proud to be an Ofsted “outstanding” non-maintained special school and sixth form for pupils aged 4 – 19 with a diagnosis of Autism. We have been providing specialist education for children with autism since 1997 to enable them to learn, thrive and achieve.  Our approach is person-centred, we are passionate about quality of life, we value difference and we are ambitious.

We are seeking a passionate Outdoor Lead to join our school in September 2020.  You will lead on outdoor Education for our pupils aged 4-19 in particular our post 14+ pupils all of which have 1:1 support. You will have access to excellent resources as well as expert support from our Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Analysts. The candidate will need to have QTS.

While continuing to develop basic skills, the curriculum for the older pupils also focuses on developing life and vocational skills and aims to prepare our pupils for the next stage after leaving school. You will have high expectations of our pupils' learning and a commitment to providing education that promotes excellent progress, improves the lives of our learners and contributes to mission of ‘making the ordinary possible'.
